I’m not quite sure whether I’m embarrassed or proud of my achievement in making this video for my (awesome) Spanish school, El Pasaje, but I thought I’d share it anyway.
I thought I was being asked to have a photo taken to promote the school, but I found out last-minute that it was actually a video and had to think of something pretty quickly. Marvel at how my Spanish sounds almost exactly like Japanese:
Must try to work on that accent of mine…
… Been learning spanish for only a month yet you speak spanish as if you’ve learned for a lot longer. That’s very impressive…. This sort of inspires me to learn a language or to beside my mother tongue which is hindi as you know as well (a language i must learn first).
You should be proud and your Spanish sounds very good ๐
Thanks, Akhil! Hindi should be a breeze for you. I know a lot of Fiji Indians prefer to teach their children “proper Hindi” from India, but I prefer Fiji Hindi because it’s closer to our cultural identity. ๐ I’d love to learn it one day too!
And thanks El Pasaje, too. It should probably be pointed out that the school didn’t pay me any money to speak praise of it; it genuinely is an awesome Spanish School. ๐
